Chelsea have been one of the clubs strongly linked to Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone this week.

Kone is becoming a pretty sought-after talent and he could make his big move in the summer, with the clubs starting to line up.

The links continue, and according to a report from Sport Witness citing Rheinische Post, Kone is likely to go for a fee of €30m, rather than the €50m fee we have seen touted elsewhere.

Kone has already been on record claiming he adores Chelsea and Didier Drogba, so you’d feel that they might have something of an advantage if they do decide to move for the midfielder this summer.

Kone appears to be gearing up to depart his German side in the coming months and he may soon be the subject of a bidding war between several top European clubs after impressing in the Bundesliga and earning himself plenty of admirers.
