Chelsea ‘could offer €100m’ for Barcelona star this summer | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona could be the subject of a mammoth transfer offer on the part of Chelsea this summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Jules Koundé as the player in question.

Defender Koundé, for his part, is of course in the midst of a superb individual campaign to date.

So impressive has the France international looked, in fact, that calls for Koundé to be recognised as world football’s best right-back have begun to mount amongst those of a Barcelona persuasion.

And the former Sevilla man is evidently held in similarly high regard on the part of those behind the scenes at the aforementioned Chelsea.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of Sport that:

‘At Stamford Bridge they already considered signing him last season, while this year they could put around 100 million euros on the table for his incorporation.’

It is also noted, though, that Deco and the Barcelona hierarchy ‘will not even listen to proposals’.
