Chelsea have reportedly asked about a new centre midfielder with 20 appearances for the Netherlands ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Blues will be looking to do some pretty big business in the summer window after having a very poor January window and suffering as a result on the pitch. They did manage to get back to winning ways in their last game against Southampton though, and will be hoping to continue in that way later this week.
The Blues won the game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.
The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.
Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!
Chelsea are now making plans for the summer window to improve their squad.
According to Relevo, Chelsea have asked about Tijani Reijnders for the summer window, he will soon extend and his will is to stay but if AC Milan does not qualify for the Champions League, all offers for top stars will be evaluated, including Rafa Leao.
Reijnders plays as a centre midfielder and has 20 caps for the Netherlands.
Chelsea seem stacked in midfield as the moment and with Andrey Santos allegedly coming back in as well, it makes you wonder why they are being linked with new midfielders now.
