Chelsea are reportedly about to launch a make or break bid to sign one new player ahead of next week in this summer window.

Chelsea are super busy in the transfer market as they try to get deals done before the Club World Cup transfer deadline ends on June the 10th in the coming days.

It’s the last chance for clubs to sign players to take to the competition this summer, and Chelsea are looking to get one or two more in the door.

The transfer window then opens again on June the 16th and clubs can sign new players again for the rest of the summer window.

Maignan doesn’t look positive

The Blues want to sign Mike Maignan for AC Milan this window and ideally before the Club World Cup. However, all the latest reports would suggest that this one isn’t looking overly positive right now.

It was reported yesterday that Milan have rejected Chelsea’s opening offer for Maignan as both sides dig their heels in on the price.

Top source for AC Milan news, Daniele Longo of Calciomercato, reports that Chelsea will launch a make or break offer for Maignan on Monday. Milan refused an offer this weekend because it didn’t get near £25m.

They just need to pay the damn fee and stop messing about. This is a world class goalkeeper for a stupidly low fee, what are they doing??

Gittens is the other one they want

Well, as well as Hugo Ekitike, who is also wanted by Chelsea right now but also doesn’t look to positive at the moment either.
