Real Madrid have embarked on their pre-season tour in the United States, gearing up for a demanding campaign where they will compete for seven titles.

This tour won’t feature many of Real Madrid’s star players due to international summer tournaments. As a result, young talents have a chance to prove their worth in the first team.

Meanwhile, some are using their holidays to start a personalized pre-season training regimen. Among these dedicated players is Camavinga, who will be donning the number ‘6’ jersey following Nacho’s departure.

Camavinga is putting in solid shifts

Camavinga recently competed in the European Championship. He is now in Los Angeles, where he has been permitted to train at UCLA, a familiar pre-season training ground for Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old is entering his fourth season with Real Madrid and Despite his potential, he has mostly been a substitute in crucial matches or played as a left-back due to team injuries.

Hard time to get into the playing XI

Under Carlo Ancelotti’s 4-4-2 formation, the midfield has been dominated by Toni Kroos, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Jude Bellingham, with Camavinga often being the fifth option.

However, the numerous injuries that plagued the team last season gave Camavinga more opportunities to start. With Kroos now retired, a spot in the midfield has opened up, providing Camavinga with a golden opportunity.

The youngster is aware of the importance of this season. He knows he needs to solidify his place in the starting lineup for Real Madrid. Moreover, his increased role at Real Madrid could also positively impact his standing with the French national team.
