MIAMI — The road to the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup ramps up with three club tournaments around the region to highlight This Week in Concacaf.

North American clubs will clash in the Leagues Cup, Central American clubs begin play in the Concacaf Central American Cup, and the CFU Club Shield continues the road to the Concacaf Caribbean Cup.

In the youth category, the Boys’ U-15 Championship will kick off to determine its three champions across the different subregions.

Here’s what is on tap for the coming week:

Leagues Cup 2025

The Leagues Cup 2025, the third consecutive edition of the Concacaf-sanctioned tournament that pits MLS and Liga MX sides, begins on Tuesday with a new format.

All 18 first-tier Mexican clubs and the 18 MLS Cup Playoffs participants from the 2024 season will meet in MLS vs. Liga MX matchups through Phase One and the Quarterfinals.

Aside from defining a new champion, the Leagues Cup will deliver three berths to the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.

2025 Concacaf Central American Cup

The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup kicks off on Wednesday with 20 clubs, including back-to-back winners LD Alajuelense, vying for the regional championship.

The tournament will also determine six places in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.

2025 CFU Club Shield

The 2025 CFU Club Shield continues in Trinidad and Tobago, with the end of the Group Stage to start the week en route to a decisive weekend.

The four group winners will contest the Semifinals on Friday. The two finalists will meet for the trophy on Sunday and determine their placement in the Group Stage of the 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup.

2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship

The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship begins on Saturday. The fifth edition of the competition features a record 38 Concacaf member associations, as well as one guest participant.

Group stage play for all three leagues will take place between August 2 to 7, followed by the Knockout Stage and the final position matches on August 8 and 9. The finals on August 9 and 10 will crown the three league champions.
