Transfers are one of the most interesting parts of football. As a result, even though there are a lot of games left to be played this season, it looks like some eyes are already starting to shift towards the summer window. There are a lot of hopes surrounding Celtic, following another brilliant campaign and genuine progress in the Champions League.
If everything goes well, then Celtic could finish this season with another treble. Also, they made it to the knockout phase of the Champions League after more than a decade, narrowly losing out to Bayern Munich over two legs.
Celtic have focussed on signing rising talents over the years. But if Champions League progress is the focus then bringing proven quality has to be considered.
Kieran Tierney is going to be exactly that. There is a chance that Jeffrey Schlupp could be signed as well, especially if Greg Taylor leaves. There are some other players on the Hoops' radar as well though.
As reported by Football Insider, Celtic are “very much interested” in signing Lennon Miller. Motherwell are looking for just short of £10 million for him if they are willing to accept an offer to part ways with the midfielder.
Miller is considered the best rising talent in Scottish football right now. He has already established himself as a starter for Motherwell and even captained the Steelmen on a few occasions.
Of course, that has caught the eye of clubs other than Celtic as well. It is believed that the Rangers are also interested in signing him. Outside of Scotland, the likes of Liverpool, Everton, Lyon and several others also have their eyes set on Miller. Now, it remains to be seen what the Scottish midfielder decides to do next.
