Antonio Cassano was massively critical of Juventus and some of their individual players during a recent Twitch stream, singling out centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic and naming two Serie A strikers he feels have performed ‘better’ than the Serbian so far this season.
Cassano feels that Vlahovic has performed no better in Serie A than Atalanta’s Mateo Retegui or Lazio’s Taty Castellanos this season.
Vlahovic is currently third in the Serie A top scorer charts with six league goals from his first 10 outings this term. Retegui leads the division with 10 goals from 10 matches, while Castellanos has five from nine in the league, plus another two from three Europa League matches.

Cassano feels that the Serbian only comes alive when playing in the penalty area, and that he has difficulty in linking up with the rest of his teammates in the build-up.
“Vlahovic continues to be poor,” Cassano said on a recent Viva el Futbol stream on Twitch.
Cassano continued: “He’s afraid of having the ball and has difficulty in his movement. He can do good things in the penalty area, but he’s not great for the team. Retegui or Castellanos are much better.”
