Riccardo Calafiori has fully recovered from his latest injury as Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta confirmed he will be available for the Gunners’ Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb.
The Italy international had picked up his fourth physical setback of the season in early January, which led him to miss back-to-back Premier League games as well as an FA Cup tie against Manchester United.

However, the London giants issued an official note on Tuesday revealing that the 22-year-old was among the players back at the team’s training session and hoping to prove fit enough to make the Arsenal squad for their European trip to Croatia.
Arteta also spoke to reporters in the afternoon, confirming both Riccardo Calafiori and Ethan Nwaneri would be available for the game.

“It’s very positive news,” the Spaniard said at a pre-match press conference.
“We’ve missed them for a few weeks and they returned today for training, so they will be available for the game.”
Calafiori started his last Champions League match in late November, during his side’s 5-1 win at Sporting Lisbon, before picking up a second knee injury in the space of a few weeks.
