Goalscoring midfielder Brittany Sanderson became the second new signing of the summer for Leeds United Women.
The former Huddersfield Town and Halifax Women player joins the Whites with a superb record in the FA WNL, where she has grabbed 85 goals in 139 appearances, the vast majority of which coming in the Northern Premier Division.
Following the arrival of Chloe Dixon, Sanderson links up with Simon Wood’s side for pre-season and can’t wait for the new campaign to get underway.
“It is really exciting,” Brittany said. “I had a bit of a break so I am really excited to get playing football again.
“I had been speaking to Simon for a few months and then I came and had a look around Thorp Arch and everything stood out – the facilities, the coaching and a good set of girls as well!
“I have played with quite a lot of the group before so it has been quite an easy fit really coming in for pre-season. I get on with everyone really well and I am enjoying it.
“I would say I am a creative midfielder and I like to get a goal. I want to get involved in everything and I am really excited to get started.”
