Karleigh Osborne made two changes to the side that beat Whyteleafe last time out, Carolin Engelhard coming back in and debutant goalkeeper Layla-Belle Duman taking her place between the sticks.
The game started as an arm wrestle with both sides providing physicality and an attacking mindset.
Phillips had an early sight of goal inside three minutes as she pushed down the right and into the box, however her shot hit the side of the net.
Besides that chance, the visitors started the better of the two teams in regards to possession and territory, with the Bees camped inside their own half for much of the opening 10 minutes.
While on the back foot initially, it was Brentford who struck first, Regan Graver meeting Nikki Woods’ corner and nodding it back across goal to Worsley, who headed it home to open the scoring.
The Bees had a second five minutes later. Woods’ corner was cleared from a crowded penalty area but only as far as Phillips, who took a touch and fired into the bottom-left corner from the edge of the box.
Despite going two goals down, the visitors continued to attack, with Victory Edema driving forward on the half-hour mark and firing just wide.
Rebecca Linney went one better five minutes later as she pulled one back to make it 2-1.
Osborne’s side were quick to wrestle back momentum, however, with Read heading a Woods corner into a defender’s legs before it snuck past Tamsin Wickens in goal for Brentford’s third.
Following a back and forth opening 45 minutes, the game settled into a smoother pace as the second half got under way.
Logie almost had her first of the afternoon just after the hour mark. The striker turned her defender inside out before firing at goal but Wickens made a strong save diving to her left.
The visitors thought they had their second goal on 76 minutes as Edema headed it home, however she was ruled offside.
Two minutes later, they did pull another back as Jordyn Galway crossed to Alexandra Nord who tapped it in from close range.
Still leading but needing a goal to put the tie to bed, Brentford continued to press for a fourth.
Alissa Down took a long-range free-kick on 80 minutes after Nour Aboul Kheir was fouled, but her effort was inches over the bar.
Down went closer to scoring six minutes later as she went to tap the ball in following a corner, but Wickens was there to make a good save.
As the game inched closer to full-time, a Woods cross from the left side of the box struck a Camden Town player’s hand, with the referee immediately pointing to the spot.
Logie stepped up and scored the resulting penalty, securing a 4-2 win for the Bees and their spot in the semi-final of the Capital Cup.
