Serie A side Fiorentina ready to let Michael Kayode leave as Brentford and Brighton increase interest.

According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla via Sport Italia, Brentford and Brighton have made inquiries to explore the value of Michael Kayode. Fiorentina have deemed the Italian international surplus to their requirements and are looking to sell him next month.

Dodo has overshadowed Kayode in the full-back role and the 20-year-old is now searching for a cub where he will have regular game time. Last summer. Aston Villa came close to signing him but negotiations fell off as sporting director Monchi could not cater to Fiorentina’s demands.

Interest from Brentford and Brighton are considered to be exploratory surveys right now but the prospect of landing a young and talented full-back could make them bid for him as soon as the January transfer window begins.

Kayode started his career in the Juventus youth ranks and then moved to Fiorentina later after two years at Gozzano. He currently features for the Italy U-21 squad.
