🚨 BREAKING: Girona full-back completes Napoli move | OneFootball

Napoli have confirmed the signing of full-back Miguel Gutiérrez on a five-year deal from Girona.

Gutiérrez will head to Serie A after Napoli paid a transfer fee of €18m plus an extra €2m in add-ons to the LaLiga side.

The Partenopei have had a long-term interest in Gutiérrez and were only able to complete the deal once Real Madrid decided not to activate a buy-back clause for the 24-year-old.

Gutiérrez joined Girona from Real Madrid in August 2022 for a fee of €4m and was a key player for the Blanquivermells, making over 100 appearances and contributing with 19 assists in all competitions.

The former Spain youth international is Antonio Conte's third defensive addition this summer, following Sam Beukema and Luca Marianucci to Naples.
