Borussia Dortmund join Milan fight for Rashford | OneFootball

Milan have another competitor to battle in the race for Marcus Rashford, as Borussia Dortmund are stepping up their pursuit of the Manchester United striker.

The Rossoneri knew they were always going to face a fight to get the England international’s signature, even on a dry loan for six months without an option to buy at the end of the season.

Barcelona remain the primary contenders, but now Sky Sports Deutschland report that Borussia Dortmund are intensifying their attempts to convince him.

Rashford a tough target for Milan to secure

It comes at the same time as Milan are linked with a possible swoop for Borussia Dortmund forward Giovanni Reyna, so the two could work in sync.

Although the 27-year-old can play as a centre-forward, which is the role Milan badly need right now, Rashford has made it clear on numerous occasions that he prefers to start from the left wing.

That is a position already covered by Rafael Leao and impressive youth player Alex Jimenez.

Rashford contributed seven goals and three assists in 24 competitive games for Manchester United so far this term.
