Chelsea have reportedly set a date to meet the agent of another potential new signing and could turn to Enzo Fernandez to help with it.
This comes off the back of Chelsea beating Southampton in their latest Premier League match on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues won that game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.
The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.
Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!
As is the nature of the beast at Chelsea right now, they are always seemingly looking to sign the next biggest thing, and they have the next one lined up now.
Chelsea have now set their sights on Argentine talent Ian Subiabre.
Journalist Uriel Iugt has claimed that Chelsea are set to meet with the agent of Subiabre in an attempt to convince him to join them for the future.
He said: “Next week there will be a meeting in London between the sporting director of Chelsea and Ian Subiabre’s agent.
“The footballer has been closely followed and he left very good impressions at the South American Under-20 Championship. They will also join with other clubs.”
With Enzo Fernandez being a fellow Argentine, there is a chance that Chelsea might turn to him to contact the young rising star and help convince him to come.
