Arsenal have their sights set on signing the Blackburn Rovers forward.

Blackburn Rovers have offered a new contract to Arsenal transfer target Igor Tyjon in a bid to keep the talented young striker at Ewood Park this summer.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, the Lancashire outfit are trying to convince the youngster to stay after rejecting an offer from the Gunners.

Tyjon has impressed at youth team level, and is now on the verge of breaking into Valerien Ismael’s first0team squad for this season.

The 17-year-old’s current contract is set to expire at the end of this season, leaving Blackburn vulnerable to his departure.
