Ismael Bennacer has reportedly given his approval to a deadline day move to Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille, but the Rossoneri appear unwilling to let the midfielder go without a replacement lined up, which could prove tricky with just a few hours of the January transfer window remaining.
According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Bennacer has already agree to join Marseille, but Milan have not yet accepted an offer from the Ligue 1 outfit.
Marseille are reportedly pushing to sign Bennacer on loan for a fee of around €1m for the remainder of the 2024-25 season with either an option or obligation to buy for a fee in the region of €10m.

Milan, however, are fairly short in their midfield department. If Bennacer were to depart, that would leave just Youssouf Fofana, Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah as the natural, senior midfielders in the first team squad.
And, with the January transfer window closing at 11.00 GMT on Monday evening, that does not leave a lot of time for the Rossoneri to line up a replacement.
Bennacer, however, is reportedly ‘pushing’ to join Marseille before the deadline hits, which has caused a slightly delicate situation at Milanello.
