beCordial Hotels & Resorts renews its sponsorship agreement with Celtic | OneFootball

We are delighted to announce that BeCordial Hotel chain has extended their partnership with Celtic FC Women for three years, until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The agreement was finalised during the recent visit of the hotel chain's CEO, Nicolás Villalobos, to meet with the team that won both domestic cups last season and who are in the running for the SWPL title and the Scottish Cup this season.

Nicolás Villalobos said: "We are very proud to be able to continue contributing to the development of women's sport and that our brand will continue to appear on the kit of one of the most competitive women's clubs in Europe.

"Our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy has led us to support sport in our community, sponsoring clubs and organisations that promote shared values such as commitment, respect and teamwork, and that encourage grassroots sport," he explained.

"For many years in Spain we have been sponsoring Unión Deportiva Las Palmas and, at the end of 2019, we decided to extend this commitment to women's sport with Celtic, a team that is admired and loved not only in Scotland but globally."

Thanks to this sponsorship agreement, since 2020 the Celtic FC Women's team held its pre-season training camp on the island of Gran Canaria on two occasions, staying on the first occasion at the Cordial Mogán Valle Apartments and on the second occasion at the Cordial Mogán Playa Hotel, a benchmark of exclusivity, comfort, proximity and impeccable service, both with a strategic location in Puerto de Mogán, an idyllic enclave in the southwest of Gran Canaria, known as Little Venice for its picturesque bridges and canals.

During the 2022 stage, the team was also able to enjoy the facilities of the chain's new leisure proposal in Arguineguín: Perchel Beach Club, the largest family Beach Club in the Canary Islands, an oasis of relaxation nestled in the Cordial Santa Águeda Resort.
