Bayer Leverkusen are among the clubs monitoring Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling as he prepares for a summer exit according to reports.
The Blues have been busy this summer and have signed Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, with more new faces expected to arrive.
Outgoings have begun to pick up and Kepa Arrizabalaga, Djordje Petrovic and Noni Madueke have all left, whilst Renato Veiga is closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea still have a number of players they are looking to offload and Sterling falls into that category, but finding a new club for the 30-year-old won’t be an easy task.
Sterling’s career has been on a steady downward decline since joining Chelsea from Manchester City for £50m in 2022.

The England international spent last season on loan at Arsenal, but failed to impress as he scored just once in 28 appearances in all competitions.
Sterling is now back at Cobham training with the “bomb” squad, and there’s reportedly interest from an unnamed Champions League club.
Chelsea are said to want £20m for Sterling, and BBC Sport have reported Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen are among the clubs monitoring the former City man.
The report adds other clubs in Europe are said to be interested, with Sterling not in Enzo Maresca’s plans for next season.
Th big positive from moving Sterling on will be the saving on wages, with the winger reportedly on in excess of £300,000 per week.
Sterling isn’t the only big earner Chelsea are looking to move on, with Ben Chilwell also falling into that category.

Chilwell spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, and was part of the squad which won the FA Cup.
However, Palace aren’t going to make the move permanent, and there currently seems to be a lack of suitors for the left back, although it’s been reported Leeds are considering a move for Chilwell.
