Bayern Munich showed no mercy in the Bundesliga opener, thrashing RB Leipzig 6-0, with Harry Kane grabbing a sensational hat-trick.

As always, the season kicked off at the home of last year’s champions in Bavaria, with plenty of new faces on both sides. Bayern quickly asserted their dominance, controlling the central areas and creating chances at will.

Josip Stanisic sparked the opener with a smart run, setting up Michael Olise for a powerful strike.

Five minutes later, Luis Díaz made a memorable Bundesliga debut with a thunderous second. Olise added a third before the break to put Bayern firmly in control.

The second half saw Kane take centre stage, scoring three more goals, including a brilliant solo effort and a neat finish from a Kim Min-Jae assist, completing his hat-trick. With these three goals, Harry Kane has now scored more Bundesliga goals than he has played matches.

Bayern Munich have certainly made a statement with a stunning start to the season.
