It’s known that Bayern Munich wish to loan Daniel Peretz out before the end of the month, but the Israeli goalkeeper has rejected a move to French side RC Lens.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Peretz decision to reject Lens “has been met with a lack of understanding from many involved, including Bayern Munich.”
Bayern Munich are currently exploring a move for Jonas Urbig, whose FC Köln contract expires in the summer, but the 2. Bundesliga side want a considerable fee to allow their goalkeeper to leave the club six months early.
Should Urbig arrive at Bayern Munich this month, then Peretz has no place in the team. After their latest rejection, the Rekordmeister are expected to make a third offer to Köln.
Per Plettenberg, Peretz would have become first-choice goalkeeper at Lens despite his current injury, where Bayern Munich would then monitor the 24-year-old’s situation before making a decision in the summer, but the French outfit have since signed Mathew Ryan.
