According to Defensa Central, since Bayern are also planning to sell players like Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry, which has increased their need for a new attacking option.

As aresult, they want someone who can play on the left wing or as a playmaker, and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo has emerged as one of their top targets.

Not within Real Madrid’s asking price

The problem, however, lies in the price. Bayern are reportedly willing to pay around €65 million to sign the Brazilian star.

But Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will not let Rodrygo leave for anything less than €100 million to even start negotiations.

Although Madrid might consider selling for €80 million or more, they are aware that Rodrygo’s value has dropped in the past season, which could impact any potential deal.

Rodrygo faces uncertainty

Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid is complicated. Although he wants to stay for many years, he knows he is not a guaranteed starter anymore.

He barely played five minutes in Real Madrid’s clash against Borussia Dortmund, showing he has slipped down the pecking order under Xabi Alonso.

For now, Rodrygo’s plan is to continue fighting for a place in the Real Madrid squad next season. He wants to succeed at the club he loves and is not ready to give up just yet.

However, as the Club World Cup continues and Rodrygo, who is also a subject of interest for Arsenal, watches from the bench, he might start to think differently.

Seeing himself capable of being a starter elsewhere, combined with strong offers from clubs like Bayern, could eventually change his mind.
