Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to spend a significant figure to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United, as per reports.
The relationship between Garnacho and Ruben Amorim has reached the point of no return after the Argentine youngster’s erratic reaction to his manager dropping him from United’s starting lineup in the Europa League final.
Recently, Fabrizio Romano revealed that the United winger is guaranteed to leave Old Trafford this summer.
According to Fichajes, United’s bold decision has led to the 20-year-old receiving several proposals.
However, Leverkusen and Napoli are understood to be pushing the hardest to sign the talented forward.
It is claimed the Bundesliga giants have been closely monitoring his development and believe he could prove to be a very good fit for them.
Leverkusen are now led by Erik ten Hag, who played a key role in the United academy product’s senior breakthrough during his time at the helm at Old Trafford.
It is further understood that the German outfit are willing to spend around €60 million (£50.5m) to sign Garnacho, who boasts 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions this season.
Should Liverpool succeed in signing Florian Wirtz in a record-breaking deal, Leverkusen will end up with a considerable transfer budget to hand Ten Hag his desired targets.
Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Ten Hag is also keen on reuniting with Antony, who has enjoyed a prolific loan stint at Real Betis.
Meanwhile, Napoli are ready to spend a similar amount to sign the Argentina international, as they continue to search for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s replacement.
Garnacho is yet to pick his preferred decision, with both sides thought to be in talks with United.
