Barcelona’s fortunes in midfield have dramatically turned around in recent weeks, especially with Fermin Lopez, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong and Gavi all returning from their injuries.
Hansi Flick is thus suddenly spoilt for options in the middle of the park and the development is a welcome one for the Catalans.
One particular player who has lost out because of the increased competition in midfield, however, is Pablo Torre who was impressive before the mainstays returned to fitness.
As relayed in a recent report by AS, Torre is not entirely happy with his situation at the club as he searches for minutes and prominence under the manager once more.
Flick is close with all his players, especially those who do not see minutes and always encourages them to stay at the top of their game in anticipation of opportunities which will invariably arrive as the season progresses.

The Spanish outlet thus relays that Torre is not yet considering leaving Barcelona as it stands and believes that he will have his chance to step up.
Torre wants to focus on staying in Barcelona and waiting for his opportunity for the time being and will take a call over his future if matters don’t improve in the short term. A departure in January cannot be ruled out but is unlikely.
The 21-year-old has played five games for Barcelona this season, three as a starter and already has three goals and an assist to his name.
In fact, he scored a brace in his last appearance for the club which came against Sevilla and is yet to play a game after that night close to a month ago.
