Barcelona youngster agrees new contract | OneFootball

An up-and-coming member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has agreed to the terms of a new contract with the club.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, citing Jijantes, who point towards Áron Yaakobishvili as the player in question.

Youngster Yaakobishvili, for his part, has been on the books in Catalunya’s capital since all the way back in 2018.

The Hungarian has since built a reputation for himself as a potential star in the making, held in altogether high regard by those behind the scenes at Barcelona.

All of a Blaugrana persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be delighted to hear of Yaakobishvili’s immediate future being secured.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:

‘Barcelona young GK Aron Yaakobishvili has signed new deal at the club until June 2028.’

The 19-year-old is now expected to be farmed out on loan for the 2025/26 campaign, with a view to making the step up to first-team duties at Barcelona down the line.
