Barcelona remain on the lookout for a new left-winger this summer and aspire to sign one of Luis Diaz or Nico Williams. For that to happen, though, they need to complete a big sale first.

For a while now, it has been touted that it could be Raphinha who might end up being sacrificed by Barça this summer.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed two solid seasons at the club since joining in 2022 and has plenty of interest from the Premier League and Saudi Arabia.

Raphinha valued by the club

Now, Mundo Deportivo has come forward with an update surrounding the situation of Raphinha at Barcelona.

As per the report, the 27-year-old Brazilian international is a player who is highly valued by new manager Hansi Flick as well as the sports management.

The former Leeds United man always gives his everything on the pitch and is a versatile operator, capable of playing on the right and left flanks.

However, he is seen as the most marketable of those considered ‘expendable’ by the club.

Raphinha will only leave for huge offers

As such, all scenarios are open with Raphinha at this point. Indeed, if he continues at Barcelona, there is no problem because he contributes a lot.

But if he opts to leave, it will be only for an offer worth at least €90 million – this would be the condition set by Barça for the Brazilian’s exit, after having turned down an €80 million offer last summer.

If such an offer finally arrives, the club will talk to Raphinha to see what his position is. Barça believe that if a foreign club makes a big offer for the Brazilian it is because they have already convinced him.

In all, Raphinha is greatly valued at the club and his sale would only be considered for offers worth at least €90 million.
