As was the case in the last two transfer windows, FC Barcelona are once again expected to try to reinforce their forward line when the next summer transfer window opens.
The Catalans will be looking for a player who can play on the left wing in particular and have already been linked with several players in the last few months.
Now, Fichajes has identified five players that are being considered by the Blaugranes to reinforce the left-wing position.

One of these players is Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, who is the one who attracts Barcelona the most. His contract with the Premier League side is valid till 2027 but there has not been an agreement for a renewal for now. Meanwhile, he is performing at quite a high level this season, having scored 13 goals and provided 3 assists.
The Catalans will have to negotiate with the Merseyside club to be able to sign Diaz, but reportedly, the Reds will be willing to part ways with him as they do not consider him to be an untouchable player for the future.
Another interesting option from the Premier League on the Blaugrana club’s radar is Jérémy Doku, whose future at Manchester City is also far from certain.
After a glittering start at the English club, the winger has seen his importance decrease recently. Still, he has got 6 goals and 7 assists to his name this season, and his contract till 2028 will also make negotiations for his signing difficult.
A third name from the Premier League that is on Barcelona’s list is the Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who is currently playing on loan at Aston Villa.
He was closely linked with the Catalans in the last winter transfer window, and he himself was keen for a move, but the Blaugranes were unable to generate enough salary space to incorporate him in time. Still, he remains a more affordable option for Barcelona.
In Spain, the Azulgrana remain interested in the Athletic Club winger Nico Williams, who has 4 goals and 6 assists to his name this season. He was quite close to joining the Catalan team last summer but ultimately decided to stay at his current club. However, the Blaugranes are expected to make another move for him this summer.
Lastly, the Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens is another young and highly promising candidate on Barcelona’s list, who, at 20 years of age, is already worth around €100 million. He has 11 goals and 5 assists to his name this season and remains a highly attractive bet for the future.
There are still some months till the next summer transfer window opens, but it will be interesting to see if any of these players end up joining Barcelona for the next season.
