Barcelona transfer target hints that his future is open | OneFootball

A leading member of the summer transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Barcelona has this week admitted that his future, at present, is somewhat unclear.

The player in question? Luis Díaz.

The name of wide-man Díaz has of course reemerged as an altogether prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 hours.

As much comes after Barcelona found themselves rejected by first-choice attacking target Nico Williams, of Athletic Club.

Focus at the Camp Nou, in turn, will now be shifted towards alternative targets, with a move for Díaz considered ‘Plan A’ once more.

All of a Blaugrana persuasion will therefore no doubt be interested to hear of the Colombian this weekend speaking out on his future.

Drawn on his place at Liverpool during an interview with Win Sports, Díaz left the situation somewhat open, in admitting:

“We don’t know yet, I can’t say anything [about my future]. We’re talking with the management. We’re comfortable where I am. There are issues to discuss.”
