A headline member of the summer transfer shortlist at La Liga champions Barcelona has admitted that he would jump at the opportunity to share the pitch with Lamine Yamal.

The player in question? Marcus Rashford.

The name of frontman Rashford has of course proven an altogether prominent one in the media headlines in Catalunya’s capital over recent days.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that the Englishman, despite knowledge of Nico Williams’ predicted arrival, is actively pushing for a move to Barcelona once more.

The 27-year-old, it is claimed, views Hansi Flick’s setup as one in which he could thrive, ready to do whatever it takes to make his dream transfer a reality.

And as alluded to above, this weekend, Rashford has only continued to add to the widespread chatter surrounding his name at present.

Speaking during an interview with xBuyer on Saturday, the Manchester United star was asked for his take on the prospect of teaming up with Blaugrana prodigy Lamine Yamal.

And Rashford went on to admit:

“Of course I’d love to. Everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully… we’ll see.”
