Just as Unai Hernandez appears set to leave FC Barcelona for Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, another of his La Masia teammates could be on his way out of the club in the coming days as well.
Unai’s contract with Barça expires in the summer of 2025 and he is on the verge of securing a €5 million move to Al-Ittihad.
Now, Pau Prim, another talented La Masia midfielder in the same position as Hernandez, could be on his way to the Middle East as well.
Indeed, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Pau Prim has received an important proposal from Qatar and negotiations are underway over a possible transfer for the 18-year-old midfielder immediately.

Prim, 18, has a contract which expires in the summer later this year and has refused to sign a new deal, leading to him being exiled from the Barça Atletic squad in recent matches.
As such, a departure at the end of the season appeared very much on the cards for the pivot midfielder, but it appears that an exit could be moved forward to the current window itself.
Al-Qadsiah from Saudi Arabia were said to be interested in Prim, now a club in Qatar have also entered the race and tabled an important proposal for the teenage Spaniard.
Negotiations are already progressing for the teenage La Masia gem to leave Barcelona immediately and move to Qatar.
More details are expected to emerge in the coming hours, but it appears like Barça are set to lose two very promising academy talents before the winter window slams shut.
