Barcelona stars overlooked for Champions League Team of the Week | OneFootball

Barcelona’s dominant victory over Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday has not proven enough to secure any of the club’s stars a place in the Champions League Team of the Week.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course fresh off another explosive attacking display last night.

After making the trip to Serbia for a meeting with the aforementioned Red Star, Barcelona ultimately emerged on the right side of a 5-2 result.

En route to as much, a wole host of the Blaugrana’s stars shone bright, Robert Lewandowski having notched a brace, Raphinha a goal and two assists, and Jules Koundé a trio of assists.

As alluded to above, though, such endeavours have not proven enough to earn even one a place in the official UEFA Champions League Team of the Week.

In fact, Atlético Madrid’s Nahuel Molina is the only La Liga player to have been named in the XI, showcased below:
