Following their relegation to the RFEF Segunda Division, Barça Atletic, FC Barcelona’s reserve team are set for a major squad overhaul with several departures expected.
Pau Prim and Diego Percan have already left while Arnau Pradas is also on his way out this summer.
Now, according to SPORT, Barça Atletic captain and midfielder Aleix Garrido is set to leave the club after 13 seasons in the academy, having been considered one of the most promising talents in the reserve side.
The young midfielder will join Eibar in La Liga 2, signing a three-year deal.

Garrido first joined Barcelona in 2012 as a first-year Benjamin. He progressed through every youth category, becoming a role model for many aspiring La Masia players.
The youngster made his senior debut for Barça under Xavi Hernandez during the 2021/22 season but did not feature again.
Garrido played 25 matches for Barça Atletic this season, having missed a big chunk of the campaign through injury.
Despite that, several second-division sides contacted his entourage in recent months to inquire about his availability, including the recently-relegated Las Palmas.
However, Garrido, 21, has opted to sign for Eibar, where he will be signing a three-year contract, bringing an end to his long tenure at Barcelona.
