Barcelona star the subject of Ligue 1 transfer inquiry | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is attracting transfer interest by way of the French top-flight.

That’s according to market insider Loic Tanzi, who points towards Héctor Fort as the player in question.

The name of full-back Fort has of course emerged as a leading one in the headlines surrounding Barcelona across the week to date.

This comes after the 19-year-old was not afforded a single minute of playing time in the Blaugrana’s pre-season opener against Vissel Kobe.

As much gave rise to immediate speculation that Fort does not feature in the plans of boss Hansi Flick, therefore potentially set to be on the move before the summer is out.

And as alluded to above, with as much in mind, the versatile full-back has this weekend received an inquiry by way of Ligue 1.

As per a report from the aforementioned Loic Tanzi, following their promotion to Ligue 1, Paris FC have touched base with Barcelona, over a potential summer deal for Fort.

It now remains to be seen if the capital outfit are willing to meet the financial demands laid out by the Camp Nou brass for a sale.
