Barcelona star provides injury update after being stretchered out of Las Palmas clash | OneFootball

Barcelona star Alejandro Balde has taken to social media, to provide an update on his wellbeing.

This, of course, comes after the defender set alarm bells ringing on Saturday afternoon, upon being forced into a premature departure from Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Las Palmas.

En route to a shock 2-1 defeat for the Blaugrana, Balde lasted just 25 minutes, before being withdrawn for Gerard Martín.

As much came about after the Spanish international was involved in a heavy collision with Las Palmas’ Sandro Ramírez, leaving Balde grounded and in evident distress, clutching his neck.

Unable to make his way from the field of play on his feet, the 21-year-old, in turn, was carried off on a stretcher.

All of a Barcelona persuasion will therefore no doubt be interested to hear of an update on Balde’s wellbeing, 24 hours on, coming to the fore.

‘It all turned out to be just a scare. I’m doing just fine! Thank you all’
