Barcelona star joins Lionel Messi in Copa América Team of the Tournament | OneFootball

A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has been named in the official Team of the Tournament for the Copa América.

The player in question? Raphinha.

Wide-man Raphinha, for his part, proved himself one of few positives for an otherwise hugely underwhelming Brazilian outfit at the recently-completed Copa.

En route to his country’s quarter-final exit from the competition, the former Leeds United man featured from the off in all four outings, netting a stunning free-kick against eventual finalists Colombia along the way.

And as much, as alluded to above, has proved enough to earn for Raphinha a place in the Team of the Tournament.

The XI, voted for by ‘the Tactical Study Group’, was unveiled across CONMEBOL’s social media platforms late on Wednesday.

Also included in the line-up are the likes of Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, ex-Real Madrid midfielder James Rodríguez, and Atlético Madrid mainstay Rodrigo De Paul.
