Barcelona star continues to sing praises of Blaugrana transfer target Nico Williams | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Wednesday lavished praise on fellow Blaugrana star Lamine Yamal, and Athletic Club’s Nico Williams.

Lamine and Nico, of course, have this week linked back up at international level.

Fresh off guiding Spain to glory at the European Championships during the summer, the explosive wing pair have been called up once more, ahead of La Roja’s Nations League meetings with Serbia and Switzerland.

Both will be expected to feature from the off in the fixtures, with Lamine, in particular, in the midst of a spectacular stretch of form.

And one individual of the opinion that this marks just the beginning when it comes to the impact set to be had by the two attackers on the international stage comes in the form of Pedri.

Speaking in an interview with El Mundo this week, Barcelona midfielder Pedri – also part of Luis de la Fuente’s squad – was drawn on his two compatriots.

And, in his response, the 21-year-old tipped summer Blaugrana target Nico, and partner-in-crime Lamine, to keep Spanish supporters entertained for ‘a long time’ to come:

“With Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams, we’ll have enough fun for a long time in the Spanish national team.”
