FC Barcelona are looking to strengthen several areas of their team in the upcoming summer transfer window, but the Catalans would have to generate some income to be able to sign their desired targets and to get them registered with La Liga.
There are several players in the current team who are expected to depart the Blaugrana club this summer, and these departures will bring in some amount in fees and also improve their financial standing by reducing their expenditure in wages.

Moreover, Barcelona can also obtain some much-needed income from some of its former players on whom the Catalans still have some rights.
One such former player who can end up bringing some millions into the club’s coffers is the Frenchman Jean-Clair Todibo, who, according to Mundo Deportivo, is set to join the Premier League side West Ham United permanently this summer after having spent the last year on loan with them.
The London-based club will exercise its option to sign the defender permanently for €40 million. The Blaugranes have a 20% right on any fee paid for him, so they will get €8 million from this transfer.
Barcelona had bought the French defender from Toulouse back in the winter of 2019 for €1 million. However, his stint at the Catalan club was not too successful, and after loans to Schalke, Benfica, and Nice, he was permanently bought by the French side for €8.5 million.
Thus, including the €3.5 million fee obtained from the loans, the total income that the Blaugrana club has obtained from the defender will rise to €20 million with this move to West Ham United.
Before, Jean-Clair Todibo, Barcelona, have already confirmed the sale of Alex Valle to Como for €6 million, while they can also receive some cash from potential moves of Estanis Pedrola and Alex Collado.
