According to a report from SPORT, Barcelona are open to negotiating the sale of young left-back Gerard Martin, but only if the right financial offer is made.
The club would only allow him to leave if they receive more than €12 million.
This situation has developed quickly, with Wolverhampton Wanderers showing interest in the player. The English club has close links with agent Jorge Mendes, who has a strong influence at Wolves.
While Barça were not planning to sell the La Masia defender, the recent interest has made them reconsider, especially if a good offer comes through.
At present, there is no formal bid, but Barcelona believe the player’s value has gone up, especially after his strong finish to the season.
Martin played important matches, including finals against Real Madrid and Champions League semi-final against Inter, showing his reliability in high-pressure games.

Barça had previously set his valuation around €8 million, but now believe he is worth more due to the lack of quality left-backs available on the market.
The Catalan club is not forcing Martin out. However, with Alejandro Balde considered the long-term starter, Martin is likely to remain a backup.
Barcelona’s plan is to bring in a more experienced left-back to support or compete with Balde.
One name being considered is Alejandro Grimaldo, among others. Such an operation could cost around €15 million, so selling Martin for over €12 million would help fund that move.
From the player’s side, the player would prefer to stay at Barcelona, where he has come through the youth system.
However, Wolves are reportedly ready to offer him a much higher salary and a long-term contract. If that happens, it could be a move that benefits both parties.
Barcelona are waiting to see how things develop, but there is a growing belief that an offer will arrive soon. If it matches the club’s expectations, they are ready to do business.
