Barcelona learn asking price for Brazilian sensation | OneFootball

La Liga champions Barcelona have this week been made aware of the asking price for alleged transfer target Zé Lucas.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have provided an insight into the latest developments in the saga.

The name of midfielder Zé Lucas first emerged in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital last week, upon Marca confirming that Barcelona were exploring the incorporation of the 17-year-old.

As much, it is understood, came with the Blaugrana having been offered up the chance to bring Zé Lucas in by his team of representatives.

The player, for his part, is considered a potential star in the making, already an established first-team contributor at Sport Recife.

And yet, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media on Monday is anything to go by, then Barcelona sanctioning a move for Zé Lucas, this summer at least, remains unlikely.

This comes for a pair of reasons. First, the wealth of up-and-coming midfield talent already at the club.

And second, the alleged price-tag set out by Sport Recife, who are seeking €12-15 million, a sum which Deco and co. are not willing to part with.
