According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have officially made contact to explore the conditions of a potential deal for Roony Bardghji.
The club has held direct talks regarding the 19-year-old Swedish winger, who is attracting serious interest across Europe.
The journalist mentions that while FC Porto have already submitted a bid two weeks ago, Barcelona are now closely monitoring the situation and view Bardghji as a separate target from their main focus, who is Nico Williams.
Bardghji, a player of Syrian heritage born in Kuwait and raised in Sweden, is seen as a major talent for the future. He first caught the eye in Malmo FF’s youth ranks before joining FC Copenhagen, where he made his senior debut at just 16.
Known for his dribbling and direct style of play, Bardghji has often drawn comparisons to Arjen Robben.
With his contract set to expire on 31 December and a current market value of around €7.5 million, he presents a unique low-cost opportunity for Barcelona.

In fact, Barcelona sporting director Deco, Alejandro Echevarría, and Bojan Krkic recently met with Bardghji’s agent over lunch to discuss the youngster’s potential move.
The club is clearly exploring both present and future investments, and Bardghji fits the long-term profile they’re aiming for.
While Bardghji is being considered, Barcelona are still focused on completing the marquee signing of Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
The 22-year-old Spanish international has already agreed personal terms with Barça and is set to sign a six-year deal at Camp Nou.
However, the move hinges on Barcelona being able to pay his full release clause of €62 million, as Athletic Club have made it clear they will not negotiate on the price.
The pressure now lies on Barcelona to raise enough funds to activate the clause. With no flexibility from Athletic Club, the Catalan side is racing against time to manage their finances and bring in both a proven star in Nico and a future gem in Bardghji.
