According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the future of Vitor Roque at Barcelona continues to hang in the balance.

This is because his temporary registration, which was granted in place of Gavi, has now expired, and the club must now register him as a new signing, amortising his transfer fee, which amounts to €30 million plus €31 million in add-ons.

Since Xavi’s departure, Roque’s future has been a topic of discussion, as the former manager did not consider him part of his plans.

However, with the arrival of Hansi Flick, it was expected that Roque’s situation would change. Earlier reports suggested that he might stay at the club, but Barcelona’s struggles with Financial Fair Play regulations have once again put his future in doubt.

Despite being the only player similar to Robert Lewandowski in the team, Roque’s registration is still not finalised, and he is not being considered in Barcelona’s plans.

As a result, the Brazilian player has attracted attention from European clubs, including Fiorentina and Napoli from Serie A.

Fiorentina have already expressed interest in signing Roque on a loan basis, with the option to purchase him permanently depending on certain conditions.

Napoli, on the other hand, are looking to replace Victor Osimhen, who left the club this summer, and their new manager, Antonio Conte, is willing to sign Roque on a loan or permanent transfer.

FC Porto are also reportedly interested in signing Roque, but the transfer has hit a snag after Barcelona attempted to include him in a deal to sign Pepe from the Portuguese team.

Roque’s talent and potential have made him a desirable player, and it is unclear whether he will stay at Barcelona or move to another club. One thing is certain, however – his future will be closely watched by the suitors.
