FC Barcelona have been quite active in this summer transfer window so far, and have already made two new signings, i.e., the goalkeeper Joan Garcia and the young forward Roony Bardghji.
In the meantime, the Catalans are also working to make some new signings to further bolster their attack.
On the other hand, some players are also likely to depart the Blaugrana club, and players like Ansu Fati and Pablo Torre have already completed their departures. Some other youngsters have also left the club in recent days.
One such youngster is the defender Eman Kospo, the 18-year-old Swiss centre-back who has joined the Serie A side Fiorentina and thus brought to an end his two-year stay at Barcelona.
The Italians paid €400,000 for his signing, and the Catalans will keep a 15% right to any future fee paid for him.
As Mundo Deportivo has reported, the young defender also took to social media to disclose to the Blaugrana fans his departure from the club. In this regard, the youngster said:
“Hello culés… There has been a lot of discussion and talk in the last few hours, so I would like to inform you that my time in Barcelona has come to an end. To be honest, I never thought this day would come…”
The defender also showed his gratitude on the opportunity to play for his dream club:
“When I was little, I always dreamed of playing for a club like this one day, and I had the opportunity. I’ve learned a lot about myself in these two years. From the very first day, I gave everything for this club on the pitch!”
“Unfortunately, in football, different decisions have to be made and accepted, which sometimes hurt a lot, but that doesn’t mean they’re wrong. Yes, it hurts, it hurts a lot, but I’ve taken responsibility for choosing a different path.”
Kospo went on to thank the fans for valuing him as a player:
“Culers, thank you so much for how I’ve been perceived as a player and a person, and for always hearing only good things about me off the pitch. My motivation kept growing. I was able to experience incredible moments with the club that were simply extraordinary! I dreamed, and my dreams came true.”
The defender also explained why he decided to leave:
“I received an offer from a great club with a great project regarding my football career. The club really impressed me and that’s why I accepted the offer.”
The youngster concluded his message by once again thanking the fans and the Catalan club:
“Two years ago, I arrived with a three-year contract, and after two years, I’m saying goodbye… Barcelona, thank you! Culers, thank you very much! It was an honor… All the best and much love!!”
Hopefully, the youngster will continue growing in this new stage of his career, and reach his potential to become a great player.
