Barcelona announce return to Camp Nou | OneFootball

Barcelona have announced they’ll be heading back to the Spotify Camp Nou on 10 August 2025, marking the first match at their iconic ground since renovation work began.

The club called it a significant moment in the ongoing Espai Barça redevelopment with this game marking the first phase of the stadium’s reopening.

Barça will play the Joan Gamper Trophy on the day - their annual pre-season match, with more details on the event to be shared in the coming weeks.

Although a date has been set, the stadium is still very much a work in progress. Key areas like the upper stands, VIP lounges, and the new roof structure are still under construction, along with several interior and exterior improvements.

Even so, the club say they’re focused on delivering a positive matchday experience during this transition.

Barça have spent the last two seasons playing at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium on Montjuïc while work at Camp Nou has been underway.
