Barcelona €90m-rated Golden Boy will make his long-awaited comeback next month | OneFootball

Last week saw the long-awaited return of Gavi to group training with the rest of the FC Barcelona squad after close to 300 days.

Having recovered from his ACL injury, the 20-year-old midfield sensation is now working his way back to full fitness and has started training with the rest of the group even if it is only for parts of the sessions.

Now, SPORT has brought about an update concerning the possible return date for Gavi as Barcelona fans eagerly await to see the La Masia gem back on the pitch.

As mentioned earlier, the 2022 Golden Boy Award winner is only doing part of the work with the group so far, but the sensations are unbeatable.

As such, Barcelona are planning his return to action for mid-October, possibly in the game against Sevilla on October 20, right after the next international break.

However, the report does mention that it is not entirely ruled out that Gavi can make his comeback even before the international break starts, with the game against Deportivo Alaves on October 6 a possible target.

Either way, from being touted to return in November, Gavi has seemingly pushed deadlines and appears all set to make his comeback from the ACL injury in October.

The beating heart of Barcelona’s midfield, Gavi’s return will come as a huge boost for Hansi Flick & co. and further enhance the quality and level of a team that has won five in five in La Liga this season.
