Atlético Madrid offered the chance to sign former attacker for the 3rd time | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have been offered the chance to reunite with a former member of the club’s attacking ranks once again.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Yannick Carrasco as the player in question.

The name of winger Carrasco will of course be a familiar one to long-time fans of Diego Simeone’s Atlético.

As much comes with the Belgian international having spent a pair of stints on the books of the Rojiblancos, first from 2015 – 2018, and then from 2020 – 2023.

And if the latest word doing the rounds in the media this week is anything to go by, then a third joining of forces between the parties could yet be on the cards.

As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto, speaking during an appearance on DAZN:

“Yannick Carrasco has been offered to Atlético de Madrid.”

This comes with the brass at the Metropolitano actively searching for reinforcements out wide.

It is also noted by Moretto, however, that Atléti’s ‘Plan A’ remains the signing of Nico González from Italian heavyweights Juventus.
