This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League on Wednesday night after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now eyeing move to sign another Manchester City first team attacker!

The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.

Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!

Game of two halves

Chelsea were really poor in the first half and it looked like a real uphill struggle for them to even get one goal back. Real Betis were up for it and playing very well.

But The Blues came out in the second half, with one key tactical change made by Maresca, and they completely turned it around to win 4-1 on the night. In the end, they made it look easy, but the game overall was far from that.

James changed the game

Reece James came on for Malo Gusto at half time, with the latter having a terrible half of football. The captain came on and changed the game for Chelsea.

He also told Maresca when he was coming on not to worry because Chelsea were still going to win this game. And guess what? They did just that!

As you can see on TNT Sports, Maresca said after the game:

“When I bring Reece James on, he said don’t worry boss we’re going to win this game!”
