SportBild has reported that Arsenal are very interested in signing the French attacker Kingsley Coman in the summer transfer window. The Gunners want to strengthen their attacks and are in need of more depth in that area, and they feel that Coman might be the one who will provide more quality in the wings.
Coman is currently not a player who is a regular starter for the German club. However, he has definitely proved himself in the Bundesliga. Earlier, it was reported that Bayern might let him leave only for €70 million. However, due to the inconsistencies in his performances, he is now valued at €35 million.
The gunners need him to play in the wide areas so that they can provide rest to Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. However, his performances for Munich have also attracted the attention of Mikel Arteta.
Kingsley Coman is a live wire on the flanks with his explosive pace and technical brilliance. The Bayern Munich winger impresses everyone with his dribbling, weaving past defenders using quick feet and sharp changes of direction.

His pinpoint crossing delivers danger into the box, while his clinical finishing adds a lethal edge. Coman’s versatility allows him to thrive on either wing, cutting inside or hugging the touchline with equal flair. Though injuries occasionally disrupt his rhythm, his work rate fuels relentless pressing. At 28, Coman’s speed, vision, and flair cement him as a game-changer in elite football.
Coman has scored 4 goals in 22 matches so far in the Bundesliga 2024/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.35. Moreover, Coman’s total G/A (goals + assists) is 8 for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.69 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.35.
Looking into his passing aspect of the game, Coman passes the ball roughly 48.74 times during a game with a pass completion rate of 89.60%. He also plays 2.58 key passes each game. Overall, Coman’s xA (expected assists) output is 0.39 per 90 minutes.
The Frenchman will provide enough quality in the final third of Arsenal, and if he starts performing right away for the Gunners, he will definitely provide the club with the explosive edge in the final third, just what Mikel Arteta would have expected from him. So, it remains to be seen if Arsenal do get the deal done in the summer.
