RESULTS

That's all we have for tonight on a huge first night of Champions League quarter-final first legs.

Video OneFootball

FULL TIME! BAYERN 1-2 INTER

Inter take a huge advantage into the second leg after an impressive win at Allianz.

Bayern will rue throwing away the draw at the end.

FULL TIME! ARSENAL 3-0 REAL MADRID

An incredible night for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta with what must be the best win of his managerial career.

Declan Rice's two stunning free-kicks and Mikel Merino's brilliant finish give them a huge lead heading to the Bernabeu, and it's exactly what they deserve.

RED CARD!

Eduardo Camavinga is off, getting a second yellow for foolishly kicking the ball away.

It really sums up a horror show for Real.

GOAL! Bayern 1-2 Inter

Just three minutes after equalising, Bayern are behind again.

Davide Frattesi finishes off a slick counter with a close range finish.

GOAL! Bayern 1-1 Inter

Cometh the hour, cometh the man!

Fresh off announcing his departure, Thomas Müller has grabbed a precious equaliser for Bayern.

Kane fires one wide for Bayern, who don't look like scoring.

GOAL! ARSENAL 3-0 REAL MADRID

This is the stuff of dreams.

Mikel Merino has made it 3-0 with a wonderful left-footed strike, and the Emirates is in disbelief.

Incredible.

Trossard is on for Saka, who is given a standing ovation by the Arsenal fans.

What a night it's been so far.

Do Real have anything left?

GOAL! ARSENAL 2-0 REAL MADRID

This is unbelievable!!!!

Rice has just stuck another incredible free-kick past Courtois, smashing one into the top corner.

It doesn't get much better.

Saka has been the best player on the pitch in his first start of 2025.

Incredibly impressive from the winger.

CLOSE!

Arsenal almost have a second, and it's come from more great play.

Martinelli has his shot saved by Courtois, then Alaba blocks Merino's first effort before the Belgian keeper stops his second.

Rice then has one cleared away by England teammate Jude Bellingham.

Arsenal look the more likely to score here...

25 minutes left in both games.

Can Real and Bayern find equalisers?

One of the best free-kicks you're likely to see in a long, long time.

GOAL! ARSENAL 1-0 REAL MADRID

Oh my days, what a goal from Declan Rice!!!!

He's just curled a stunning free-kick past Courtois from 25 yards out.

A truly brilliant strike, and the Emirates is bouncing!

The second half at the Emirates has started in similar fashion to how the first ended, with Arsenal pushing the issue.

They know they need a positive result tonight.

Martínez almost makes it two for Inter as a makeshift Bayern defence continues to look all at sea.

Bayern really need the next goal in this game, with Inter continuing to look dangerous.

The absence of Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano and Jamal Musiala is unsurprisingly being felt.

And we're back under way!

HALF TIME!

Whistles blown at the Emirates and the Allianz.

It's been quite the season in Europe so far for the Inter skipper.

Sitting among some of the greats from years gone by.

CLOSE!

Arsenal might rue these missed chances.

Declan Rice tests Courtois, before Martinelli fires straight at the Belgian on the follow up.

GOAL! Bayern Munich 0-1 Inter

And what a goal!

Inter have been in the ascendancy of late, and take the lead through Martínez.

Sommer goes long to him, he lays it off, before eventually being beautifully teed up by Marcus Thuram.

His finish with the outside of the foot is pure magic.

OOH!

Bukayo Saka takes the ball down the right and fizzes a brilliant ball right across the box.

Sadly for Arsenal, no one was on the end of it. Striker problems continue?

Lautoro Martínez slips just as he's about to shoot at Jonas Urbig as Inter again threaten on the counter.

Kim Min-jae did well in fairness as well.

Carlos Augusto fires just wide for Inter after a dangerous break, while Mbappé fires straight at David Raya in a similar situation.

HUGE CHANCE!

Olise again causes havoc, dancing through the Inter box and teeing up Kane on the left-hand side of the box.

He contrived to put the ball wide, clipping it off the outside of the post.

The England captain just had to score, and he knows it.

Jurrien Timber took a knock in the lead up to Mbappé's shot, but it looks like he'll be able to continue.

Mikel Arteta can ill-afford to lose another defender.

Arsenal have been on top, but the threat of Real on the break is always there.

The Gunners give the ball away, and Vini plays in Kylian Mbappé, who fires over under pressure.

He was ruled offside but a warning sign.

Olise has been the standout so far in a tight game at the Allianz. His cross found Harry Kane who couldn't steer the ball past former Bayern man Yann Sommer.

Thomas Partey has their first effort on goal, firing straight at Thibaut Courtois after good wing play from Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal have started aggressively at the Emirates, with Real content to play on the counter.

Michael Olise has the first chance of the night, curling an effort narrowly wide after cutting in from the right.

Inter have conceded just two goals in this season's competition.

KICK OFF!

Both of our games are mouthwatering prospects, with four of Europe's true heavyweights in action.

Arsenal and Real Madrid meet at the Emirates Stadium in what is just the third game between the two - the Gunners are one of the very, very few teams to be unbeaten against the 15-time champions.

However, they are the biggest club not to win the famous trophy, and this current group have yet to fully prove themselves at Europe's top table.

Bayern and Inter have met on seven previous occasions, most notably in the 2010 final, and appear to be very evenly matched ahead of their clash at the Allianz Arena.

Simone Inzaghi has a significant edge over Vincent Kompany when it comes to experience and pedigree. Will it be a factor?
