Arsenal have been handed a potential injury boost ahead of their Premier League game against Leicester City this afternoon after David Raya was seen with the rest of the squad at their hotel.

The Spanish international goalkeeper was spotted limping after the game against Manchester City last Sunday and was unavailable for selection when Arsenal took on Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third-round during the week.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta was forced to hand 16-year-old goalie Jack Porter his debut against Bolton as Neto is cup-tied having played in the competition this season before joining the North London club, while Tommy Setford is injured.

Arsenal waited to make a late decision on Raya before giving Porter the go-ahead to feature, and it remains to be seen whether the Spaniard is now fully fit.

However, while Arteta revealed the goalie sustained a muscular injury, the video clip showing him walking out with the rest of his teammates is encouraging.

Neto could make his debut if Raya is not passed fit to play against the Foxes, and the Brazilian will fancy his chances of impressing.

Arsenal will be desperate to return to winning ways after dropping points for the second time in the 2024-25 Premier League campaign against Manchester City last weekend.

While they are expected to stroll to a comfortable victory against the newly-promoted club, they will not underrate their opponents and will give their all and best as usual.

Leicester are still without a league victory so far this term, with three draws and two losses, and leaving the Emirates Stadium with a result will be seen as an upset.

Man City will go five points clear of Arsenal with a victory over Newcastle United before the Gunners face Leicester, and the North Londoners have to produce the perfect response and keep themselves firmly in the title race.
