Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler has taken to social media, to send a message of appreciation the way of teammate Federico Valverde.

This, of course, comes fresh off another outing to remember for the latter on Sunday.

Real Madrid were back in action last night, welcoming Athletic Club to Spain’s capital with sights on a much-needed return to winning ways.

When all was said and done, this is precisely what Los Blancos managed, courtesy of a hard-fought 1-0 triumph.

And it was the aforementioned Valverde who proved himself match-winner, directing a sumptuous volleyed effort into the far top corner deep into injury time.

Widespread praise, in turn, has since come pouring in for Real Madrid’s oft-overlooked engine room star.

And as alluded to above, adding his name to the list of Valverde’s appreciators post-match was teammate and close friend Arda Güler.

Taking to Instagram, youngster Güler unveiled a photo of he and his teammates celebrating on Sunday, accompanied by the caption:

‘Fede, you are unique!’
